The drying chamber is designed for rapid wood drying in order to reduce feedstock moisture to a stable low absolute moisture content of `10-15%`. The dried wood may be used as fuelwood or fireplace firewood, or as wood feedstock prepared to the required moisture content before carbonization.
The equipment can operate as a standalone drying unit or as part of a charcoal and biochar production complex. Its main objective is rapid, uniform reduction of wood moisture while maintaining stable feedstock structure and minimizing manual operations.
